Moreover, one of our team members, Dennis Cardinaels, obtained a Ph.D. within the area of Corporate Insolvency Law at the University of Leeds (UK) granting him not only excellent knowledge of and insight into the Belgian and EU Insolvency Laws but also the laws of England and Wales and other Anglo-Saxon jurisdictions such as Canada and the US. Dennis is also academically affiliated to the University of Lincoln (UK) as an associate lecturer-in-law, regularly publishes on matters in relation to Restructuring and Insolvency Law and is frequently invited as a speaker at (inter)national legal conferences. Finally, Dennis is also a member of INSOL Europe and the Belgium Turnaround Association (BeTA) ensuring Cadanz is part of an excellent national and international network regarding Restructuring and Insolvency Law.
