Introduction

Cadanz (https://www.cadanz-law.com) uses cookies on its website.  Cadanz informs you in this cookie policy about the use and purpose of these cookies.

What are cookies?

As manager of this website, Cadanz uses so-called "cookies". Cookies are small data or text files that are installed on the computer or mobile device when you visit a website or use a (mobile) application that stores certain user information. Cookie files contain unique codes that allow your browser to recognize you during your visit to our website and thus improve your user experience.

Cookies have an expiration period depending on whether they are session cookies or permanent cookies. Session cookies contain information that is used within your current browser session. These cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. Permanent cookies are used to store information between different visits to the website. This data allows the website to recognize you as a returning visitor and thereby respond accordingly, for example by saving your language preferences. The permanent cookies have a longer lifespan that is determined by the website.

As cookies are also personal data, this cookie policy must be read in conjunction with our privacy policy described above. The processing of personal data is subject to European Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, as well as to the law of 30 July 2018 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.

Why does this website make use of cookies?

There are different types of cookies, classified according to functionality, origin and / or the retention period.

A number of websites use functional (necessary) cookies to ensure that the website functions optimally and are technically necessary for the proper functioning and security of the website. This improves the user experience of the visitors. These cookies are placed without permission of the visitor as they can be considered as being in the legitimate interest of the entity managing the website.  Insofar Cadanz is aware, no functional cookies are being used for its website.

However, Cadanz does use non-functional cookies for statistical purposes.  Cadanz uses cookies for analytical purposes so that the visit to the website can be measured and monitored (Google Analytics).  These cookies enable Cadanz to verify how the website is used.  For example, we know how many times a particular page is read, how much time someone spends on our website, etc.  Statistical overviews are made of the information we receive in this way.  Thanks to these statistical results, we can improve the structure, navigation and content of our website and associated services.  We also use this data to report in a general manner about our services or in the context of investigations in which we participate.  No personal information is provided.  The permission of each visitor is required for the placement of these cookies.

Below you will find a list of all cookies used on this website.
