Cadanz has assisted the founding shareholders of TIM Security in a transaction whereby the Antwerp based security company has been acquired by Varel Security NV, effective as from 18 July 2022. Subsequently, ING Bank (via its Corporate Investment branch) and Tim Security shareholder Anthony Detienne have reinvested in the group.
Varel Security was initially based in Hasselt and founded already in 1974, and has more than 45 years of experience in the field of security. In recent years, Varel Security has become an integrator of various other security companies in Belgium active in the field of burglary protection, fire safety, camera surveillance, access control and integrated security solutions.
