It was founded in 2008 by Jan Stoop and Dirk Strobbe, who were previously practicing at some of Belgium’s most prominent business law firms.

• Jan Stoop and Dirk Strobbe will speak on 25 November 2011 at the annual congress of real estate brokers on the legal aspects of cooperation between and acquisitions of peer brokers.
• 8 August 2011: Companies have various options available to structure the marketing of their products via intermediaries. Bram Gillis was interviewed on this topic in Trends magazine.
• 21 July 2011: Accountants have a duty of care in establishing a "financial plan" for new companies. This was shortly discussed by Dirk Strobbe in Trends magazine.
• 30 June 2011: Dirk Strobbe was featured in the Trends magazine on some legal issues in choosing a company name.
• 21 March 2011: For the second year in a row, Cadanz was nominated for the Belgian Legal Awards in the category Highest Potential Law Firm.
• 3 March 2011: Newsletter on a judgment narrowing the possibilities for accountants/statutory auditors to be approved as liquidator of a company.
• 1 Feb 2011: Cadanz welcomes Bram Gillis as a new partner to strengthen its commercial and litigation practice. 
• 14 Jan 2011: Cadanz has been chosen as the winner of the Corporate Intl Magazine 2010 Legal Award for Boutique Law Firm of the Year.
